Other Information We Collect

GSK also collects non-personally identifiable information in aggregate form to track data such as the total number of visits to the Site, the number of visitors to each page of our Site, and the domain names of our visitors' internet service providers. We use this information, which remains in aggregate form, to optimize our site for our users. We may also share this information with other GSK companies and third parties. THIS DATA DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT USERS SUCH AS NAME, ADDRESS OR E-MAIL ADDRESS.

Use of IP addresses

An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a set of numbers that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you log on to your internet service provider or through your organisation's local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN). Web servers automatically identify your computer by the IP address assigned to it during your session online.

GSK may collect IP addresses for the purposes of systems administration and to audit the use of the Site. We do not ordinarily link a user's IP address to personal information of that user, which means each user's session will be logged, but the user remains anonymous to us. However, in special cases, we may use IP addresses to identify users of the Site when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with the Site's terms of use, or to protect our service, the Site or other users.

Links to Third Party Websites

You may see links to other websites and web resources that are not part of the Site. If you click on one of these websites, you will leave Site. You agree that, as you have chosen to enter the linked website we are not responsible for the availability of such websites or resources and do not review or endorse and shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for (i) how these websites treat your personal information, (ii) the content of such websites, including (without limitation) any advertising, content, products, goods or other materials or services on or available from such websites or resources or (iii) the use that others make of these websites or resources.

If you link to another website, you should make sure you understand how that website treats personal information by checking its privacy policy.

Further, we impose strict rules on GSK employees who have access either to the databases that store user information or to the servers that host our services. Whilst we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration to data will not occur, we make every effort to prevent such unfortunate occurrences.

Such parties will have access to your information, including personal information, as necessary to enable them to provide those services. Please rest assured that companies engaged by GSK for this purpose will be required to abide by this Policy and agree to use any such personal information solely for purposes of providing the specified services to GSK.
