I was a victim of an accident

For Jacky, 53 and from London, part of the injuries suffered in an accident caused her to get dentures. She shares her story.

‘I lost my own teeth in an accident, which as you can imagine was pretty upsetting. I did consider other options mainly implants. I had consultations with dental surgeons, spoke to friends and really weighed it up. In the end I decided to go with dentures. And, once I got the right ones and started using Poligrip, I’m really okay with it all. I can bite an apple, eat nuts, eat steak and nothing gets underneath. The dentures I now have fit perfectly, which is obviously important but the Poligrip I use, keeps them in place. I thought it was going to be the end of the world and for a while I thought it was, happily that’s no longer the case.’
